Co-financed Projects

The Union of Paprika Producers Cooperative Society (UPP Pimentón) of Jaraíz de la Vera Cáceres, has received aid with co-financing from the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), for the Implementation and Certification of a Environmental Management System according to the International Standard UNE EN ISO 14001:2015, based on decree 105/2016 of July 19, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for the implementation of a Program for Improvement of the Competitiveness of the Extremeña SME and its subsequent modification by Decree 82/2017 of June 13.

The investment made has been €6,000, and the aid received has been €4,800, which is co-financed by the FEDER at 80% and by funds from the Autonomous Community at 20%, the file being OP – 17 – 0125 – L1.

This project was proposed to implement and subsequently obtain the corresponding Environmental certification according to the international standard UNE EN ISO 14001:2015, as the main objective, but also with the need to control the internal and external processes of the organization, so that Increase competitiveness and document all its processes.

With this we intend to improve the Quality of our products, which are closely related to the Environment, Legal Compliance, Waste Management, etc…

Among the different reasons related to the execution of the project, in relation to efficiency, we consider it very important to be able to reduce costs, increase energy efficiency, reduce errors related to non-quality and sanctions, and of course, the improvement of customer and worker satisfaction, in addition to differentiating ourselves from companies in the sector, through the implementation and Certification of an Environmental Management System according to the UNE EN ISO 14001:2015 Standard.
